• Welcome to my weblog!

This is a weblog where I can put up some of my best work as make-up artist(visagist)/hairstylist. It's great to work with make-up and see how it can really transform people. I've worked with Estee Lauder, Dior, Lancaster and many other major brands but I also do freelance work for media productions such as TV, films, commercials, fashion, editorials, music videos as well as weddings and other special occasions and etc. I hope to reach more people to see my work and hopefully to get more contacts in this area. Feel free to contact me if you are interested either on my mobile or with email.

Disclaimer
I can't guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone's skin is different and it's possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

You can find some of my work under the 'Blog Archive'. Thanks for visiting.

Pauline

Pauline is a co-worker of a very good friend of mine, Robert Flos. There's a funny story behind my encounter with Pauline. We were fooling around on live TV.
This is the 50's make-up. Very dramatic. very glamourous. Pauline was very happy and satisfied after that. It was an honor to have worked with such an interesting lady.

Linda

Misc.

Some other miscellaneous models I worked with.

Sophia

Sophia is the ex-colleague of April (my other asian model) from Sampurna Indonesian Restaurant in Amsterdam.
She wanted a sophisticated look so I gave her this look. It was als fun to play around with her hair.

Pierre

Pierre is guy from Corsica, France I got to know here in Amsterdam. I was so in toxicated with his charm and great face (that I forgot to take his 'before' photos)
Pierre wanted me to take some nice photos for himself. He had dark undereye circle. So with a little help of concealer and true-to-his-skintone powder foundation and a little bit shaping here and there, voila! the same ol' Pierre but better and enhanced. He was sceptical about using make-up but after he saw his photos, he was very happy about it.

Melanie

Melanie has uneven skin tone like many dark coloured skin. Unfortunately she doesn't get much breakouts.
Here I even out the skin with a water-based foundation. Then I accentuated her eye brows. There's taboo about glossy lips on thick dark coloured skin lips. But I think it is the best features about them. So don't be afraid to use shine.

April

April worked at one of my favourite Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam on the Flower Market. Asian eyes are sometimes difficult to work with. My tips: Eyeliner and Propotioned Eyebrows! It does wonders!
